How to play

An easy starting hole, this is straight & not too long.It allows you to warm up & settle down before the challenging holes kick in. The fairway is reasonably wide & even if you are slightly off the fairway – the rough is manageable. Long drivers can actually get to the green as at this altitude the ball will travel another 7 % longer. A potential birdie hole your second is a wedge into a large green with lots of undulations & mounding on the sides – there are bunkers a little away from the green on either side in the front – but they are really there for a wayward shot. The green is reasonably flat & easy to putt on.

Hint: Position yourself off the tee for a comfortable second & you could have a birdie start to your round.
